Extended Engagements

Need more than
an hour?

Some questions fit in sixty minutes. Some programs don’t. When the work calls for a long-term engagement — a monthly retainer, an advisor at your operation for a full day, or a build measured in years — we scope a specialized arrangement around your needs and put the cost in front of you before anything starts.

Two Ways Programs Outgrow the Hour

More time on the clock — or boots on your ground.

The decisions keep coming

Breeding season, sale entries, futurity deadlines, the buyer on the phone — one good hour expires, and the calendar doesn’t. That’s a retainer: your designated advisor in your corner all year, on a monthly cadence, with the call that counts between sessions.

The answers live at your place

The horses that need an honest evaluation, the mares that deserve in-the-flesh eyes, the facility nobody can read off photos, the team that needs to hear it firsthand. That’s a Ranch Day: a world-class advisor on-site at your operation from morning to evening.

Choose Your Shape

Three engagements beyond the hour.

Each one has its own page, its own structure, and its own fit. None of them comes off a rate card — every arrangement is scoped to the operation in front of us.

The Ranch Day

Counsel that comes to your operation.

Some answers only show up on your ground — in your pens, your pastures, your barn aisle. A Ranch Day puts the advisor at your operation for a full working day, seeing what you see and saying what needs to be said.

How the Deal Gets Made

Scoped to you, priced up front.

No packages, no tiers, no meter running. You tell us what you’re running — we put a structure and a number in front of you.

Tell us what you’re running

Disciplines, headcount, goals, and what the engagement needs to cover — a year of decisions, a day on the ground, or both. Five minutes through the inquiry form is plenty to start.

We scope the arrangement

The advisor whose record fits your lane, the cadence or the agenda, the travel if there is any — and one clear, all-in cost. You see the whole structure before a dollar moves.

Start when it fits

Take the deal, adjust it, or start smaller — a single Advisory Hour is the best audition for a longer seat at the table, and your advisor will tell you straight what your operation actually needs.

Questions

Good to know.

Every one is scoped, not packaged — a retainer is priced to the cadence and the calendar, a Ranch Day to the operation and the travel, a build to the project. Tell us what you’re running and we’ll put a clear structure and a single number in front of you before you commit to anything. A portion of every dollar funds the Legacy Fund.
Yes — that’s the Ranch Day. A world-class advisor spends a full day on your ground: walking the pastures, evaluating your horses, the broodmares, and the facility, and leveling with your team in person. Advisors travel anywhere in the country, and travel is scoped into the quote up front.
Standing Counsel puts a designated advisor in your corner year after year — standing monthly sessions timed to your calendar, plus pick-up-the-phone access between them when a decision can’t wait. One advisor who knows your mares, your horses, and your goals, so the counsel compounds instead of starting over.
Absolutely. Book back-to-back sessions with your advisor, or inquire and we’ll structure a short block around the question — plenty of Program Reviews run exactly that way. Extended engagements exist for when the work outgrows sessions, not to force you into one.
No — and most people shouldn’t. The best standing arrangements start as a single Advisory Hour that earned a longer seat at the table. Start with the hour; your advisor will tell you straight whether your operation needs more.
Completely. Your program, your numbers, your plans, and everything an advisor sees on your ground stays between you and them. Honest counsel depends on it.

Standing Counsel

Someone in your corner, year after year.

The biggest programs don’t call for help when something breaks — they keep the counsel close, year after year. A retainer puts a designated advisor in your corner for the decisions that keep coming.

Beyond the Hour

Tell us what you need. We’ll fit the deal to it.

A retainer, a Ranch Day, a multi-day visit, a build — or a shape we haven’t named yet. Inquire about costs and we’ll put a specialized arrangement in front of you, scoped to your operation.
